Valhalla Lodge

Brief
This project is a Nordic brewery called Valhalla Lodge established in 1997. This company is named after the Viking word for “heaven” and they specialize in hand crafted beers with unique Nordic flavors. The goal was to create unique branding for the company that could translate over both print and web.
Solutions
I wanted to create a brand that felt close to the ocean and Nordic roots while still feeling modern and approachable. To accomplish this, I chose a cool, calm color scheme. The type and layout give a modern feel that would appeal to the target audience of young adults. Lastly, to tie back in the viking feel, I used grain texture in both the packaging and the logo.
